Event: Global AI Impact Summit 2026
AKIS TECH LTD, established by a team of technocrats and now part of a globally operated venture capital fund specializing in innovation-driven product development, financing, and portfolio operations, demonstrated strategic leadership at the Global AI Impact Summit 2026. As a major system integrator across India and the CIS countries, the company’s core competencies include system integration, cloud services via the AKIS Cloud platform, Big Data solutions, information security, and advanced computing complexes built for sovereign digital infrastructures.
During the Summit, AKIS TECH operated a dedicated stall within the Country Pavilion, which became a facilitation hub for Indo-Russian cooperation in AI, cybersecurity, enterprise software, trusted digital platforms, and strategic computing ecosystems.
The AKIS TECH Pavilion drew distinguished government officials, industry leaders, policymakers, venture partners, academia, and international delegations.
Among the key Indian visitors were Deepak Tripathi, Director of RITES Limited; Manoj Gangey, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal; and Parag Kumar Goyal, Principal Executive Director, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd.
From Russia, senior delegates included Valentin Makrov, President of RUSSOFT, and representatives from leading enterprises such as Rosatom, Sberbank, VEB.RF, and Yandex.
Academic participation included faculty members from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, and IIMT University, alongside representatives from multiple Indian IT companies and cybersecurity firms.
These discussions focused on sovereign AI deployment models, cybersecurity frameworks for critical infrastructure, digital modernization of railways, coal, and energy sectors, and collaborative academia–industry innovation labs. AKIS TECH also facilitated the Indo-Russian Academic Bridge, integrating Indian and Russian universities to promote joint research, faculty exchanges, and structured cross-border talent pipelines.
In addition to bilateral engagements, AKIS TECH co-moderated a key India-Russia AI panel with Valentin Makrov and Alok Kumar, Chairman of AKIS TECH, which articulated a joint vision for human-centric, inclusive, and trust-based AI cooperation. The session underscored a shared commitment to digital sovereignty, ethical AI deployment, innovation acceleration, and collaborative frameworks for future technological development.
This aligns with the Summit’s broader thematic focus, where national leaders and global stakeholders converged around inclusive AI principles and strategic partnerships.

At the Summit, Rosatom showcased Small & Medium Reactor (SMR) technologies, including floating and containerized models suitable for powering critical infrastructure and AI data centers. Engagements with Sberbank, VEB.RF, and Yandex explored opportunities in AI-powered fintech, sovereign cloud platforms, search and data intelligence technologies, and infrastructure financing models for cross-border digital transformation.
In collaboration with Russian associates and partner industries, AKIS TECH announced the launch of Asmit.AI — a localized AI platform designed to streamline healthcare access and agricultural advisory services through 100% native AI systems with voice support in regional languages. Built on sovereign cloud architecture, Asmit.AI aims to democratize AI for rural and semi-urban populations while ensuring secure data governance.
The Summit generated strong interest from Public Sector Undertakings across railways, oil & gas, coal, and infrastructure sectors, as well as private firms specializing in cybersecurity, quantum technologies, cryptography, and secure hardware solutions. Academic institutions proposed joint research collaborations, and structured discussions on Indo-Russian sovereign AI strategy progressed meaningfully.
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 itself emerged as a global milestone: hosted in New Delhi with leaders from over 100 countries and a major emphasis on AI for inclusion, ethical governance, resilient technologies, and shared global prosperity.
